I had a wonderful Mother's day weekend hanging out with my little family. On Saturday we took Drake to fly a kite for the first time:

I absolutely cannot believe that my little baby girl is 3 months old! At 3 months she is so much fun smiling and cooing all of the time. Her favorite thing (aside from big brother Drake) is her bouncy chair-she loves swatting and grabbing at the bird and monkey on it. She is still gaining weight quickly and last time I weighed her she was 11 lbs and 5 oz. She is consistently sleeping a 6-8 hour stretch every night and we're working on a napping schedule.
Here are a few pics and one of Drake at 3 months for comparison-I still think that they definitely resemble each other although not as much in these pics. Love my precious babies!

I wish that I had pictures of our Easter trip to Tulsa, but I forgot to put the memory card back in the camera after I loaded pictures to the computer. :( Either way we had a great time seeing the family.
I have a video to load of Drake coloring Easter eggs and will get that on here soon!

When you have more than one child, you can't help but compare them. So far, Drake was a MUCH easier baby than Allie-she's a bit of a diva and was much more laid back. She is very particular about her likes and dislikes and he was more go with the flow. One thing that they have in common is they both love to talk-she's already a talker and will coo loudly at you if you're not paying attention to her and anyone that knows Drake knows that he doesn't stop talking...EVER. :) I always compare is how much they do or don't look alike. If I'm looking at them, I really don't feel that they look too much alike...until I bust out the baby pictures. Here is a picture of Allie and Drake at 10 weeks. Aside from the fact that Drake weighed a few pounds more, I think that they look so much alike! What do you think?

We decided to cut Drake's hair into something with a little style. Now he definitely looks like a mini David! :)
Allie is 2 months old and she is growing like a weed, at her 2 month check up she weighed 9 lbs 10 oz(25%) and was 21 3/4 inches long (25). She smiles all of the time and is starting to have such a fun little personality.

Since Drake has been such a fabulous big brother, we surprised him by taking him to meet Thomas. We met Betsy, Jared, William, Henry and Lauren and Owen Black in Grapevine. We were able to take a short train ride on Thomas and spent the rest of the morning checking everything else out. They had a ton of activities for the kids like a bouce house and petting zoo. It was so much fun and I definitely think that it will be something that we do every year.
